Parking blocks

Moyers Contracting, Inc. has been manufacturing since 1987 and we have installed thousands around the valley and state. We pour them with a 3500 psi mix so that they are more durable and can take more abuse. We do everything from manufacture to delivery to installation. We can install one on your job or we can install 100 on your job.

Parking blocks have several uses from placing them in parking stalls, to creating a curb line, to making a planter barrier around trees and other landscape or areas that need to be protected.

We can install them on asphalt, concrete or even dirt or decomposed granite. With asphalt installation, we drive rebar pins into the ground to hold them in place. For concrete installation, we drill them, epoxy them or a combination of both methods. The epoxy we use is a two part system that we mix just prior to installation since it only has a small window of workability.

There are two styles of parking blocks in the most common 6′ style. See the pictures above. We have the standard MAG 150 spec that is 6″ tall and we have a five-sided style that is 5″ tall. Both do a great job of staying in place and both have really good durability. The style just depends on your preference.

Let us know if you have any specific questions about our parking blocks or if you need a quote for a job or upcoming project.

We cover the entire valley and state. Gilbert, Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale, Queen Creek, Phoenix, Chandler, San Tan Valley, Apache Junction, Paradise Valley, Maricopa, Peoria, Surprise, Goodyear and Glendale and most all points in between. Maricopa County. Concrete parking blocks Queen Creek.

Steel Bollard Installation Contractor in Phoenix

Moyers Contracting is a steel bollard installation contractor in Phoenix. These are also known as steel pipe bollards and are used for many applications (these are different than concrete bollards). In the parking lot maintenance industry, they are used almost exclusively for protection. They can protect walls, handicap signs, gas tanks, propane tanks, water valves, and ATM machines. We have installed them for all of these applications. We can also do plastic bollard covers.

Moyers.Contracting@gmail.com 480-892-5117 Contact us if you need steel pipe bollards that are concrete filled in Phoenix AZ.

Painted Yellow Bollards with Reflective Tape

Once a bollard is put in, there are some finishing steps to complete. These steps are some of the reasons why we think we stand out from others.
The pipe must be installed deep enough (3′) and enough concrete must be used to keep the pipe solid for years if not decades.
To finish a pipe bollard it has to be filled with concrete and neatly and cleanly rounded off.
The concrete at the base (if it is installed in an existing concrete slab) must be neatly finished.
There can be no spilled concrete on the outside of the pipe. (many will spill it and try to paint over it.)
The pipe has to be painted safety yellow and there can be no overspray on the existing surface. You can learn about steel pipe standards at ATSM.

If you are going to attempt to install the steel bollards yourself, make sure to get the utilities located and marked so that when you are digging, you don’t hit anything underground.

We cover the entire valley and state. Gilbert, Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale, Queen Creek, Phoenix, Chandler, Peoria, Surprise, Apache Junction, Fountain Hills, Paradise Valley, Goodyear and Glendale and most points in between. Steel bollard installation contractor in Phoenix.
