When it comes to parking lot striping, Moyers Contracting has a system for every aspect. We do things that many other companies aren’t willing to do simply so they can cut corners. Their work may look ok when complete, but compared to ours, there is simply no comparison in the quality.

For starters, we measure and layout with chalk lines every aspect of the striping process. Even if we are restriping, we are still measuring and chalking out the lines. The main reason that this step is essential, is that we are still wanting to stripe back the straightest line possible. We are also trying to correct the mistakes of the previous contractor; if there are any. Most every other striping company will just try to “eye ball” the alignment of their line striping machines and hope that they get a straight line. In many cases, especially if they are re-striping our work, they will make it look worse.

The next thing we do is a baseline or a line that is perpendicular to the striped lines. This shows us how long the lines need to be and where they need to stop. This step is also important for uniformity making sure all the lines are the exact length.

The next thing that we do is tape off the ends of the painted line (the perpendicular line) so that it catches the over spray. When the tape is pulled up and you look down the line at the end of the stripes, you will see a perfectly straight and crisp line. Most every other contractor that we come across will not do this and when you look down the line, it is some wavy and unprofessional looking.

All of these seemingly small elements, combined with our vast field experience, add up to a very straight and clean line that we are very proud of. We feel our work is the best in the industry and we show the quality of our work with every job we do.
