This was a recent job in Phoenix at the Pestmart corporate offices at 19601 N. 27th Ave. Here we were asked to remove and replace and good number of concrete car stops on asphalt. These were our standard 6 foot long and 6 inch tall 3500 psi concrete car stops. These weigh approximately 200 pounds each.

We have a system for doing this so that we are in and out as fast and efficient as we can. Our trailers are set up for transport and easy unloading. We start by removing the old car stops and setting them off to the side. We then unload and set the new ones. After they are set, we place the rebar pins in the pre-formed holes and begin pinning them into place. We use an electric hammer to drive the rebar pins that hold them in place. The next step is to load the old ones and get them ready to be hauled off. We dolly them off the trailer and into position.
